Hamad Kiani, a 42-year-old heroin and crack dealer from Birmingham, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison after a County Lines Taskforce raid uncovered substantial quantities of drugs at his home in Bordesley Green.
Arrest and Evidence
Kiani was arrested on Wednesday, October 29, last year, when officers from the County Lines Taskforce executed a warrant at his address. They discovered hundreds of wraps of Class A drugs, nearly two kilograms of cannabis, and multiple mobile phones linked to drug dealing activities.
Text messages on one phone revealed Kiani advertising drugs with the phrase 'on till 12 fat sizes five for 30', which police identified as meaning larger-than-average wraps of Class A drugs.
Court Proceedings
At Birmingham Crown Court on Friday, July 3, Kiani admitted to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, as well as possession of cannabis with intent to supply. The court sentenced him to two years and eight months in prison.
