Rossendale Hospice Invites Community to Join Summer Sunflower Tribute
Rossendale Hospice is calling on the local community to participate in a beautiful summer tribute by dedicating a sunflower to someone special. These vibrant flowers will illuminate streets across the valley throughout June and July, serving as a powerful visual reminder of cherished individuals.
Personalised Tributes Across Multiple Locations
Residents can select from several locations across Rossendale to place their tribute, ensuring each dedication feels truly personal and meaningful. This initiative allows for a heartfelt connection to the community and the loved ones being honoured.
Special Update: Tributes for Beloved Pets
In an extra-special update for this year, the hospice is now offering dedications for beloved pets who have passed away. These specific tributes will be displayed at the Rossendale Pet Cemetery in Crawshawbooth, celebrating the joy and companionship that furry friends bring to our lives.
Funding Essential Nursing Care
Every sunflower dedicated helps fund the expert nursing care that many families in the community rely on. Each contribution can provide up to an hour of essential support for someone living with a life-limiting illness, offering vital respite and reassurance for local carers and families during challenging times.
How to Participate
To dedicate a sunflower, individuals can visit the hospice's website at rossendalehospice.org/sunflowers or call the team on 01706 393870. Alternatively, they can visit the hospice in person or return a completed form by post to New Cribden House, Rossendale PHCC, 161 Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, BB4 7PL. Locations for tributes include Bacup, Rawtenstall, and Haslingden.
By taking part, community members help ensure that Rossendale Hospice can continue delivering compassionate care to all who need it, supporting a vital service that makes a significant difference in the region.
