Redrow South Midlands has relaunched its annual community scheme, offering a £12,000 fund to support deserving local initiatives across Cambridgeshire. The housebuilder, currently constructing new homes at Alconbury Weald II in Huntingdon, All Saints Gardens in Barrington, and Tudor Meadow in Sawston, aims to back groups, schools, and organisations of all sizes.
Funding for Grassroots Projects
The initiative is designed to assist projects ranging from grassroots sports teams needing new kits to community centres running local classes. No cause is considered too small for a share of the donation pot. Since its launch in 2019, the scheme has donated a total of £62,000 to worthy local causes.
Commitment to Community Building
Elizabeth Carter, sales manager for Redrow South Midlands, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be building on the success of our previous community funds with a new £12,000 pot, helping us to support even more inspiring local projects and organisations. At Redrow, we’re passionate about creating thriving communities, not just through the homes we build, but by investing in the people and groups that make our neighbourhoods great places to live.”
