A 16-year-old boy has been arrested following police raids in Wombourne that uncovered a stash of BB guns, cannabis, and weighing scales. The teenager, from Wombourne, was taken into custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis after officers executed warrants at two properties on Brook Road and Battlefield Lane on Thursday morning, July 16.

Staffordshire Police officers, supported by the special constabulary, dog unit, central firearms team, and tactical support teams, conducted the coordinated searches. Alongside the drugs and air weapons, they also discovered scales, indicating potential drug supply activity. The operation was based on intelligence regarding potential firearms and drug supply in the local area.

Police Statement

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We have arrested a teenager after finding a number of BB guns and drugs across two warrants in Wombourne. Officers searched two homes on Brook Road and Battlefield Lane this morning. Alongside the drugs and air weapons, we also found scales. A 16-year-old boy, from Wombourne, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis. He will be questioned in custody."
