Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a motorcyclist in his 50s suffered life-changing injuries in a serious crash outside a nursery in Lickey, Worcestershire.

The collision occurred at around 4.20pm on Friday, July 17, at the crossroads of Old Birmingham Road, Twatling Road and Monument Lane, outside Blackwell Montessori Nursery. The biker, riding a Triumph motorcycle, was involved in a collision with a white Ford Fiesta, which failed to stop at the scene.
The motorcyclist was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries. Police later found the Ford Fiesta abandoned on Monument Lane.
Police appeal
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We're appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision in Lickey that has left a motorcyclist with life-changing injuries. The collision happened around 4.20pm on Friday at the crossroads of Old Birmingham Road, Twatling Road and Monument Lane. It involved a Triumph motorcycle and a white Ford Fiesta. The driver of the Ford Fiesta failed to stop at the scene. The vehicle was later recovered after being abandoned on Monument Lane. The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries."
Police are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the Ford Fiesta before the collision, witnessed the crash itself, or saw the vehicle afterwards. They are also appealing for dashcam, CCTV or doorbell camera footage from the areas of Twatling Road, Old Birmingham Road, Rose Hill or Monument Lane around the time of the incident.
