An arson investigation has been launched after two cars were deliberately set on fire outside a property in Birmingham during the early hours of Sunday.
Incident Details
West Midlands Fire Service and police were called to Priorygate Way in Bordesley Green at approximately 4am on June 14, 2026, where they discovered two vehicles ablaze on the driveway of a house. Firefighters extinguished the flames, and no injuries were reported.
Police Appeal
Authorities are treating the incident as arson and are working to identify the culprit. West Midlands Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward. A spokesperson said: "We are investigating following an arson attack near a property on Priorygate Way in Bordesley Green. We were called to an address at around 4am today to reports that two cars had been set on fire. Following fast-track enquiries alongside our fire colleagues, it is being treated as an arson. Thankfully, no one was reported to have been injured."
Emergency Response
Crews from Ward End and Hay Mills fire stations attended the scene and left alongside police at 5.45am. The police statement added: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the details and identify who is responsible.
