Police are hunting for the vandals who struck at a building in Birmingham city centre in the early hours of this morning, Friday, April 24.

Incident Details

The front entrance was smashed at the Colmore Building on Colmore Circus Queensway. Red paint was also thrown at the glass and up the walls.

West Midlands Police said they were called at 2:30am today. Red and white tape could be seen directly outside, while blue police forensic tape was also put up at the scene. No arrests have been made.

Police Investigation

A police spokesman told BirminghamLive: "We were called to reports of criminal damage on a building on Colmore Circus Queensway, at around 2:30am today. Officers are carrying out enquiries to identify those responsible including reviewing CCTV footage."

The spokesman added: "Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help with our investigation is asked to get in touch with us. You can do so via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 quoting log 311 of 24 April."

Police inquiries are ongoing.
