Assault After Concert
Two people were attacked near Utilita Arena Birmingham shortly after a Ne-Yo and Akon concert on Monday, May 4. The victims, a man and a woman, reported being assaulted at around 11pm following the show headlined by the R&B artists.
West Midlands Police have released CCTV images of three individuals they wish to identify in connection with the assaults. The images show two blonde women, one of whom appears to be wearing a leopard-print dress, and a bearded man.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Recognise these people? We'd like to speak to them after an assault near Utilita Arena Birmingham on May 4. A man and a woman reported being assaulted at around 11pm, having previously been at the Ne-Yo and Akon concert. We're in contact with the pair who reported this, as well as the venue who are supporting our enquiries."
The force is urging anyone who recognises the individuals or has information about the incident to come forward. The assault occurred in the vicinity of the arena, a major venue in Birmingham that hosts large-scale concerts and events.
