CCTV Appeal After Woman Raped in Birmingham Attack

West Midlands Police investigating a rape in Birmingham have issued a CCTV appeal as they continue their inquiries.

Incident Details

Police said that a woman was attacked while inside an address on Hooper Street at around 6am on 23 November last year.

Charges and Court Proceedings

A 24-year-old man has been charged with rape following the incident. He has been remanded into custody and is due to stand trial next month.

CCTV Appeal

Officers have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to as part of their investigation. They are urging him or anyone with information to come forward.

In a statement, police said: "We want to speak to this man as part of our investigation into the rape of a woman in Birmingham."

"A woman was attacked while inside an address in Hooper Street at around 6am on 23 November last year. A 24-year-old man has been charged with rape following our enquiries into the incident. He has been remanded ahead of a trial next month. We now need to talk to this man as part of the investigation and we'd ask him, or anyone with information to contact us."
