CCTV Appeal: Bag Stolen from OAP at Birmingham Wetherspoon's

West Midlands Police has issued a fresh CCTV appeal after a bag was stolen from an elderly woman at a Birmingham Wetherspoon's pub. The theft took place at The Spread Eagle pub in Warwick Road, Acocks Green, on Monday, March 30.

Shortly after 9am, a man approached a woman in her 90s and stole her bag. Officers have now released images of a suspect they wish to identify and speak with in connection with the incident.

Suspect Description

The man is described as white, with short fair hair that is shaved at the sides. In the CCTV images, he is wearing a dark-coloured top or coat with what appears to be a hood.

Police Appeal

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Do you recognise this man? We're looking to speak to him after a theft in Birmingham. Shortly after 9am on 30 March, a bag belonging to a woman in her 90s was stolen from a pub in Warwick Road, Acocks Green. We're hoping someone will recognise this man and help with our enquiries."
