The incident occurred at approximately 3pm and involved a blue Land Rover Discovery and a black Ford pick-up truck, according to West Mercia Police. A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has since been bailed.

In a public appeal, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Droitwich on Saturday (12 September). The collision happened around 3pm on Roman Way between the Copcut estate and Jaguar Land Rover roundabout and involved a blue Land Rover Discovery and a black Ford pickup truck."
The spokesperson added: "The driver of the Land Rover was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been bailed. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage to come forward and assist with our enquiries."
