Four arrested in Birmingham HMO raid over London wounding

Four men were arrested in Birmingham over a wounding attack that occurred in London. West Midlands Police reported that a vehicle believed to be connected to the incident in the capital was spotted in the Birmingham area.

Three men aged in their 20s and one man in his 30s were arrested on suspicion of wounding on the night of Saturday, May 9. The arrests followed a raid at a house in multiple occupation (HMO) on Whitmore Road in Small Heath.

The men remain in police custody. A police spokeswoman stated: 'Four men were arrested in Whitmore Road last night after a car believed to be linked to an incident in London was spotted in the area. A man in his 30s and three men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of wounding and remain in custody. Police inquiries are ongoing.'
