Amelia Brookes, the girlfriend of a devoted father-of-two who tragically died in a car crash in Birmingham, has paid a heartfelt tribute to him after being discharged from hospital. Lee Bowden, 27, lost his life after the vehicle he was travelling in with Amelia collided with a tree on Ridgacre Road in Quinton.

The fatal accident occurred around 12:15 am on Saturday, March 21, leaving family and friends devastated. Amelia Brookes, aged 18, was injured in the crash but has since been released from medical care. Today, she shared moving words about Lee, describing him as the love of her life.
She said, "He was the love of my life and made me and everyone in his life so happy. He always put everyone else first and anyone that knew him would agree his heart was so pure." Lee, who was said to live in Bilston, is remembered for his selfless nature and joyful presence.
