Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man in his 40s was stabbed in Halesowen, with police describing the incident as isolated.

Emergency services were called to Clancey Way in Belle Vale at around 5:47am on Friday, July 10, following reports of a stabbing. The victim, a man in his 40s, was found with potentially serious injuries and taken to hospital for treatment.
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched one ambulance, a paramedic officer, and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic to the scene. A spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Clancey Way at 5.47am. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to hospital."
Arrests and police response
Two men, aged 50 and 37, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody for questioning. West Midlands Police stated that those involved are believed to be known to each other, and the force is treating the stabbing as an isolated incident.
