Incident Details

The robbery occurred at approximately 7:40 PM on February 17 in Sycamore Green, Dudley. The victim was sitting in his parked grey BMW when he was approached by the suspects.

The robbers demanded that he exit the vehicle, threatened him with a knife, and then chased him away before driving off in the stolen car.

Police Investigation

West Midlands Police have conducted a thorough investigation following the incident. This has included reviewing CCTV footage and tracking vehicles in the area.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the case but has since been released on bail as inquiries continue.

Suspect Descriptions

Police have released the following descriptions of two suspects:

  • Suspect One: Approximately 17 years old, around 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a large build.
  • Suspect Two: Approximately 18 years old, around 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a slim build.

Both suspects are believed to have been dressed entirely in black, wearing gloves and face coverings at the time of the robbery.

A police spokesperson stated: "We are appealing for information after a man was threatened and his car was stolen during a robbery in Dudley. The suspects demanded that he exit the vehicle and was then chased away by a further group of suspects. The suspects then drove off in the vehicle."
