Christopher Mander, a 41-year-old man of no fixed address, has been sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty to outraging public decency, exposure, and possession of monkey dust. The sentencing took place at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Monday, July 20.
Details of the Offences
Mander exposed himself and performed a sexual act in public on two separate occasions: first in Tunstall on November 11 last year, and again in Bucknall on February 5 this year. The incidents prompted a police investigation that led to his arrest and subsequent charges.
Court Order and Asda Ban
In addition to the prison term, the court imposed a three-year sexual harm prevention order. This order explicitly prohibits Mander from intentionally exposing his genitals in any public place. Furthermore, he is banned from entering the premises or grounds of the Asda store located on Scotia Road in Tunstall.
