A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following a stabbing that left a 17-year-old boy seriously injured in Birmingham. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in the Kingstanding area of the city.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Dulwich Road at around 6:45 PM on Tuesday, March 11. The teenager was found with stab wounds and was rushed to hospital for treatment. His condition is described as serious but stable.
The suspect, identified as Kieran McAllister, of no fixed address, was arrested shortly after the incident. He appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Thursday, March 13, where he was formally charged with attempted murder.

During the hearing, McAllister was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on a later date. The prosecution did not offer any details regarding a possible motive, and the defence made no application for bail.
