A man has died after a car crashed into a wall in Lye, West Midlands. Emergency services were called to the junction of Gibbs Road and Balds Lane at around 9.30am today, Monday, June 15.

The driver of the car was receiving CPR from police and bystanders when medics arrived. Despite their efforts, he was confirmed dead a short time later.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it received multiple 999 calls reporting a car which had collided with a wall. A spokeswoman said: 'Crews arrived to find the driver of the car, a man, in a critical condition receiving CPR by police and bystanders.'
'The team of West Midlands Ambulance Service medics quickly took over resuscitation but, despite the best efforts of everyone, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased a short time later.'
Scene details
A picture from the scene, posted on social media, showed part of the road sealed off by police. Officers and firefighters were pictured standing around a car, which was partially on the pavement.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesperson said: 'Shortly after 9.35am, we responded to Gibbs Road, at the junction of Balds Lane. A fire engine from Oldbury and a fire engine from Brierley Hill attended, arriving to find a collision involving one car on the road.'
West Midlands Police has also been contacted for comment.
