Man dies in Stourport crash between car and truck

A man has died following a collision between a car and a small truck in Ribbesford Road, near Stourport-on-Severn. Emergency services were called to the scene just after 10.20am on Friday, July 17.

Fatal Incident Details

Upon arrival, crews found a man in a critical condition receiving CPR from fire service colleagues. Ambulance staff and medics immediately took over to administer advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.

A second man was seriously injured and was taken to Worcester Royal Hospital via land ambulance for further treatment.

Emergency Response

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and two aircraft from Midlands Air Ambulance to the scene. A spokesman for the service said: "On arrival, crews found a man, in a critical condition, receiving CPR from fire service colleagues. Ambulance staff and medics immediately took over to administer advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene. A second man was treated for serious injuries and taken to Worcester Royal Hospital via land ambulance for further treatment."
