Man in 60s fighting for life after Brierley Hill crash

A man in his 60s is fighting for his life after being hit by a car in Brierley Hill on Wednesday evening. The collision occurred on Delph Road just after 9.30pm on July 8, leaving the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency response and hospitalisation

Paramedics treated the man at the scene before rushing him to hospital. West Midlands Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries. The man's condition remains critical.

Police investigation and appeal

Officers are conducting CCTV reviews and other investigations. They are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from around the time of the collision to come forward. A police spokesperson said: 'We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and hasn't yet spoken to us.'
