Staffordshire Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a Boots pharmacy in Wombourne, where masked men accessed the till and fled towards a local church.

The incident occurred on Monday, July 20, at the Boots store on High Street. Police were called at around 6pm after reports of a robbery. According to the force, a man entered the store at approximately 5.45pm and was seen acting suspiciously before leaving. He is described as black, wearing a black jumper, black cargo-style trousers, a black beanie hat with a cream rim, and sunglasses.
Shortly after, two other men entered the store. Both were aged between 20 and 30, of average build, and wearing face coverings. One was described as black, wearing a black jumper, black trousers, a hi-vis vest, a grey baseball cap, and a black face covering. The other wore a black jumper, black combat-style trousers, a full face mask with glasses, and a baseball cap. They accessed the till before fleeing in the direction of the nearby church.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information following a robbery at a pharmacy in Wombourne. We were called at around 6pm on Monday (July 20) to Boots on the High Street. A man had entered the store at around 5.45pm and was seen to be acting suspiciously before leaving. He is described as black, wearing a black jumper, black cargo-style trousers and a black beanie hat with a cream rim. He was also wearing sunglasses. Then, two other men entered the store a short time later. These two were aged between 20 and 30 and each wearing face coverings. They accessed the till, before making off in the direction of the nearby church. One of the two men is described as black, and they were both of average build, with one wearing a black jumper, black trousers, a high vis’ vest along with a grey baseball cap and a black face covering. The other man was wearing a black jumper, black combat-style trousers and a full face mask with glasses, along with a baseball cap."
The spokesperson added: "We are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between 5.30pm and 6.15pm on Monday to get in touch with us.
