Police have launched a public appeal to trace a man following a shop robbery in Halesowen where a staff member was threatened.
CCTV image released in investigation
West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. The force believes he could hold vital information about the robbery.
The incident occurred at a store on Hagley Road in Halesowen. Officers were called to the scene at around 6pm on Saturday, December 28.
Staff member threatened during theft
According to police, the suspect stole a quantity of laundry pods from the shelves. During the theft, the individual threatened a member of shop staff.
A police spokesperson stated: "We're investigating a robbery at a store on Hagley Road, Halesowen, between 6pm and 6.15pm on 28 December. Laundry pods were stolen from the shelves and a staff member threatened."
Following CCTV enquiries, investigators are now appealing to the public for help to identify the man pictured.
