The incident unfolded yesterday evening, March 21, in the Old Oscott area of Great Barr. Police vehicles with flashing blue lights descended on Amblecote Avenue, where the chase was brought to a halt around 10:30 PM.
Arrest and Weapon Recovery
A 49-year-old man was detained by officers. During subsequent searches of the vehicle, which was found to be on cloned plates, a machete was discovered and seized by authorities.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of multiple offenses, including burglary, possession of an offensive weapon, and driving while disqualified. He remains in police custody for further questioning as the investigation continues.
