Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a three-car collision on Bordesley Green East left one man injured and a driver fleeing the scene.
Incident Details
The crash occurred at around 2:30 PM on Monday, June 15, on Bordesley Green East, near an Aldi store. Emergency services attended the scene, where two drivers remained, but the third vehicle did not stop.
A man from one of the cars was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening, police confirmed.
A second man was assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
Road Closure and Diversions
Part of the road was cordoned off while police conducted investigations. Bus services were diverted as a result of the closure.
Police Appeal
West Midlands Police are urging anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. A spokesperson said: "We were called to Bordesley Green East at around 2.30pm following a collision involving three vehicles. One man was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing. A second man was checked over by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospital treatment. Two of the vehicles remained at the scene, but we are trying to identify a third vehicle which did not stop."
