West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace following a car break-in in Harborne and the subsequent fraudulent use of a stolen bank card at a petrol station in Bearwood.
Incident Details
The theft occurred on Wednesday, May 27, between 8pm and Thursday, May 28, at 1am. The vehicle was parked near Hagley Road in Harborne when it was broken into. Among the items stolen was a bank card, which was later used at a fuel station in Bearwood.
Suspect Description
The man pictured is white, with stubble, and was wearing a black cap, black jacket, and a rucksack with grey straps. Police are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.
Police Appeal
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him after items were stolen from a car in Harborne. The car was parked near the Hagley Road when it was broken into at some point between 8pm on 27 May, and 1am the following morning. A bank card stolen from it was later used at a fuel station in Bearwood.
