Police have issued a positive update on a Midlands pub that was previously plagued by violence, highlighting a dramatic turnaround in safety and community relations. The Bell Inn in Coleshill, which was ordered to close temporarily last September following a stabbing incident outside the premises, has now achieved a 100 percent reduction in crime reports, according to authorities.

Initially, police attempts to engage with the licensee to implement changes were unsuccessful, prompting the North Warwickshire Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) to adopt a more proactive approach.

The North Warwickshire SNT changed tactics by incorporating a range of measures to address the issues at the pub. Their strategy included:
