Background and Context

The investigation comes amid a series of violent incidents in the Birmingham area. Recent reports include a second stabbing in Alum Rock within eight days, and a Solihull Popworld victim who had an ear bitten off in a brutal attack still awaiting justice. However, police have not linked these incidents to the Starbank School case.

Starbank School is an all-through academy that serves the local community. The alleged assault has raised concerns among parents and residents about safety at the school. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
