Police are searching for a man after a woman was assaulted at a Birmingham shopping centre. The incident took place at the Bull Ring on Tuesday afternoon.
Details of the Assault
West Midlands Police said the woman was approached by a man who then assaulted her. The suspect is described as being in his 20s, of slim build, and wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. He fled the scene after the attack.
The victim, whose age has not been disclosed, did not require hospital treatment. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Police Appeal
Detective Sergeant Mark Robinson said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim, and we are determined to find the person responsible. We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact us.”
Officers are reviewing CCTV footage from the shopping centre and surrounding areas. The Bull Ring is one of the busiest shopping destinations in the city, and police are urging the public to be vigilant.
