West Midlands Police searched an address in Birmingham after receiving reports that a gun had been sighted. Firearms officers were dispatched to Bordesley Green East, located near Heartlands Hospital, at approximately 4:30 PM on Sunday, April 26.
Upon arrival, officers conducted a thorough search of the premises. However, no firearm was discovered, and police subsequently left the scene.
Police Statement
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Bordesley Green East at around 4:30pm yesterday following reports a firearm was seen. Firearms officers were quickly at the scene and carried out thorough enquiries, but no firearm was found."
Enquiries remain ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting log 3098 of April 26.

Several police vehicles were observed near the property during the operation. The road remained open to traffic while investigations were underway.
