Ross Neale, 37, of Northleach Close, Redditch, faces jail if he breaches a criminal behaviour order imposed at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on July 15. The order was made after Neale was convicted of theft and using threatening behaviour.
Court order restrictions
The order bars Neale from being on Church Green, Redditch, except to attend the offices of Charles Strachan Solicitors. He is also banned from Unicorn Hill, Redditch. Additionally, Neale must not possess an open vessel of alcohol in any public place unless in an area where consumption is permitted, and he must leave any premises or area when asked by someone with authority. The order specifically prohibits urinating in a public place, save for public toilets.
Police warning
Sgt Charlie Osborne, of Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We are pleased to get this order for Neale whose shoplifting and antisocial behaviour has impacted businesses and visitors to the town centre.” Osborne added that breaching the order is a criminal offence that could lead to imprisonment or a fine. “Anyone who witnesses Neale breaching the terms of this order should report it to police via 101 or on our website,” he said.
