Staffordshire Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a man captured on CCTV following a robbery at a business in the Leyfields area of Tamworth. The incident took place on Saturday, 25 July, at approximately 9:25pm on Masefield Drive, which houses a parade of shops and fast food takeaways.

Police were called to reports of a robbery at a business premises on Masefield Drive. The suspect is believed to have fled the scene after the incident. Officers have since reviewed CCTV footage and released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the offence.

The CCTV image shows a white male with a beard, wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up, a light blue t-shirt, and carrying a crossbody bag with a black strap. Police have also provided a description: he is approximately 6 feet tall, of medium build, and was also wearing grey shorts and carrying a black holdall bag at the time of the incident.
“Do you know this man?” a Staffordshire Police spokesperson said. “We are appealing for information following a robbery at a business on Masefield Drive, Leyfields on Saturday, July 25, at around 9:25pm. We would like to speak to the male shown in this image in connection with the incident.”
