A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Redditch, a town in the West Midlands. The incident occurred on Martley Close at approximately 8:35 AM on Tuesday, April 28. West Mercia Police officers responded to reports of a stabbing and discovered a 41-year-old man with serious injuries. He was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to his wounds.
The teenage suspect, who cannot be named due to legal restrictions, has been charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Saturday, May 2. In a related development, a second 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with the same incident. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
