According to police reports, the victim was sitting on the train at approximately 8:30 PM when he was approached by another teenager. The suspect demanded that the victim hand over his phone, questioning him while recording the interaction. The situation escalated when the victim was assaulted before his vape and bus pass were taken from him.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police stated: "Detectives investigating a robbery on a train from Birmingham to Walsall have released this image in connection. At around 8.30pm on Wednesday, February 18, the teenage victim was sat on the train and approached by another teenager. He demanded he hand over his phone, questioning him while recording him, before assaulting him and robbing him of his vape and bus pass."

In an effort to advance their investigation, detectives have released an image of a person they believe may possess crucial information about the robbery. The police are urging anyone who recognises the individual in the picture to come forward.
