Two men required emergency trauma care at the scene of an early-hours incident in Solihull. The pair sustained serious injuries on Vauxhall Crescent, Castle Bromwich, at approximately 2:30am today (Monday, June 15).
They were transported to hospital by ambulance. The Air Ambulance Service also responded to the incident. Police established a blue forensic tent covering the pavement and part of a driveway, while a search team examined the area.
Emergency Response Details
An ambulance spokeswoman stated: "We were called to Vauxhall Crescent, Castle Bromwich at 2:35am this morning. Two paramedic officers, two ambulances, a MERIT trauma team, HART paramedics, and a Critical Care car from The Air Ambulance Service responded. Two people received trauma care for serious injuries and were conveyed on blue lights and sirens to hospital for further specialist care."
Local Accounts
One resident reported hearing "at least four gunshots last night." Another added: "There was a shooting there about 2:30am this morning." Police have not yet confirmed whether a shooting occurred.
