West Midlands Police have launched an investigation after a van was deliberately driven into pedestrians at the junction of Kingstanding Road and Dyas Road in Birmingham. The incident occurred at approximately 8am on May 23, with the van fleeing the scene immediately after.
Authorities confirmed that no serious injuries were reported among the pedestrians. However, police believe the attack was not random, as those involved are understood to have been known to one another.

West Midlands Police have conducted extensive enquiries in the area since the incident. They are now appealing for anyone with information about the event or its lead-up to come forward. Detective Inspector Tom Lyons stated: "We are treating this as a deliberate act, but we believe the individuals involved were acquainted. We urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact us."
