West Midlands Police have added four new faces to their most wanted list, issuing urgent appeals to the public to help locate the suspects, whom they describe as dangerous thugs. The individuals are wanted in connection with violent attacks, harassment, and other alleged crimes across the region.
Officer injured in stop and search
Among the latest additions is Mahroy Stephenson, 30, from Bartley Green, who is wanted on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Police say that during a stop and search on Soho Road, Birmingham, an officer suffered a serious head injury and was treated at hospital before being discharged. Stephenson is also suspected of an assault on June 21. West Midlands Police urged anyone with information to call 999 quoting crime reference 20/309319/26.
Other wanted suspects
Luke Moore, 38, from Netherton, Dudley, is wanted over two assaults in Brierley Hill. The force asked the public to call 101 quoting 20/194333/26 if they see him.
Dean Gould, 37, from Walsall, has been added to the list for bail offences after being charged with assault. Anyone with information should call 999 quoting crime number 20/195981/26.
Bret Wood, 33, also from Walsall, is wanted over allegations of harassment. Police have asked the public to call 999 quoting 20/183507/26 if they have any information.
Anthony Griffiths, 39, is wanted after failing to comply with his probation licence following an offence of affray. The force added: "If you know any information, please call 101 or contact us via Live Chat on our website quoting the reference number 20/17441/26."
Public urged to help
Police often turn to the public to help bring in suspects on the run, leading to tip-offs about their whereabouts and increasing pressure on the wanted men to hand themselves in. Residents are asked to look at the latest mugshots and report any sightings immediately.
