Playland Fun Park in Worcestershire has been named the UK's most affordable theme park for the third consecutive year, offering free entry and rides starting at just £1. Located in Stourport-on-Severn, less than an hour from Birmingham, the park provides a budget-friendly day out for families during the summer holidays.
Study Reveals Cheapest Theme Parks
Outdoor play retailer outdoortoys conducted an analysis of child admission prices at theme parks across the UK to compile a list of the most affordable options for families. Playland Fun Park topped the list with a child ticket price of £0.00, making it the only free-entry park in the top ten.
The park features over 24 attractions, including a junior pirate ship, go karts, a safari train, boat hire, bouncy castles, and a playground with a paddling pool. Visitors can also enjoy a picnic area and riverside walks without paying an admission fee.
Other Affordable Options
Coming in second is The Web Adventure Park in York, charging £12.95 for children's entry, which includes a Giant Jungle Play Area and fairground rides. The park also offers live entertainment during the summer holidays and recently installed a new pirate ship ride.
Joint third place went to Camel Creek Family Adventure Park in Cornwall and Fantasy Island in Skegness, both at £22.50 for children's entry. Fantasy Island also offers free entry for those who wish to visit without riding the attractions.
