Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Installs Mobile Home at Sandringham Estate
A substantial mobile home has been delivered and positioned on the Sandringham estate grounds, adjacent to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's new residence at Marsh Farm. The large structure arrived on the back of a lorry earlier this week, just days after the former prince was spotted publicly for the first time since his arrest over four weeks ago.
Details of the Mobile Home Delivery
The portable home, featuring white exterior panelling and large windows with drawn blinds, was placed next to a barn on the King's Norfolk estate on Monday morning. It now sits in the back garden of Marsh Farm, where Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is believed to be relocating permanently. According to reports from Hello! magazine, the mobile home is intended for use by his security personnel, potentially serving as staff quarters given the limited space in his new home compared to his previous Royal Lodge residence.
Recent Sightings and Background
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was seen walking his dogs with security near Marsh Farm on Saturday, marking his first public appearance since being released from police custody. His arrest in February by Thames Valley Police was on suspicion of misconduct in a public office, related to allegations arising from the release of files connected to financier Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
Prior to this, he had been staying at Wood Farm, an isolated temporary home on the estate, after dramatic images showed him leaving Aylsham Police Station following his arrest on his 66th birthday.
Ongoing Moves and Estate Preparations
Earlier this week, removal vans from Gander & White, an art logistics company with a royal warrant, were spotted at Marsh Farm, with three large lorries believed to be transporting paintings. On Friday, boxes labelled 'HRH' were seen being carried into the property by removals men, despite Andrew being stripped of his HRH title by the late Queen in 2022 and later losing his prince and Duke of York titles by King Charles in October.
Marsh Farm has undergone significant renovations in recent months to prepare for Andrew's arrival. In January, engineers from Sky were observed installing what is thought to be TV and broadband services, while electricians worked on the property with additional security measures, including CCTV. The home is located approximately seven miles from the main Sandringham House, and a no-fly zone over the royal estate has been extended to include this area.
