A Tragic Accident in Freezing Conditions
John Kelly, aged 84, passed away after slipping on an icy path in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. The incident occurred early on Saturday morning, following a period of sub-zero temperatures and a yellow weather warning for snow and ice issued for the area.
According to reports, staff from a nearby Tesco store discovered the injured great-grandfather and called emergency services. Sadly, John Kelly died at the scene.
