Brit vanishes in Benidorm stag do, wife flies to Spain

A British man has vanished in the popular holiday hotspot of Benidorm, Spain, while attending a stag party, leaving his wife and friends deeply worried.

Disappearance during stag do

Russell Arrowsmith became separated from his group during the pre-wedding celebration. His wife Nicky lost contact with him before his friends alerted her that he was missing. Russell was last seen at around 4pm on 21 May, according to NeedToKnow.

He was spotted near the 3-star Hotel Gala Placidia in Benidorm, Alicante. The Doncaster native is believed to have been wearing either a pink or black t-shirt at the time of his disappearance. He has mid-length curly dark hair, a beard, stands approximately 5ft 8in tall, and has a slim build.

Family's plea for help

The scaffolder launched his own business in June last year, with his son Riley joining him in the venture. Both his wife Nicky and his sister Jennifer are urging locals and fellow Brits in the area to remain vigilant. Nicky is now travelling to Benidorm to assist with the search effort.

Nicky said: "He was on a stag do but left the group and no one can find him. They've rang me to fly out, so I'm on my way there now. Can everyone keep an eye out for my husband. He's been missing since 4pm today (21 May). If you see him please send me location."
