Funeral Arrangements Announced for Young Noah Sikora After Tragic Car Park Incident
The funeral of a beloved three-year-old boy, who was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle in a shopping centre car park, will be held on Monday. Young Noah Sikora, described as a source of endless joy to his family, sadly died following the horrific incident at Charlestown Shopping Centre in Finglas on Wednesday, March 11.
Details of the Tragic Accident and Funeral Service
Noah was hit by a car in the underground car park just before 8:40 a.m. and was rushed to Temple Street Children's Hospital, where he passed away. His death notice on RIP.ie reads: "Beloved son of Bartek and Martyna, loving brother to Leo and doting grandson to Wojtek, Dorota and Lucyna. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, uncle and aunties Marcel, Iga, Karolina and Marysia, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours."
A Funeral Mass for Noah will take place on Monday morning, March 16, at Saint Canice's Church in Finglas Village at 11:30 a.m., followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium.
Community Support Through Fundraiser
A fundraiser was launched to help support Noah's family with funeral costs, receiving massive community support and raising well above its target in under a day. The organiser wrote: "It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of little Noah. The three-year-old boy lost his life in a tragic accident after being struck by a car in a local car park. Noah was only three years old. He was a beloved son and a source of endless joy to his family. His sudden loss has left an unimaginable pain and emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him."
The appeal has witnessed an enormous wave of generosity, collecting €13,473 of the €10,000 goal within 24 hours. Messages of condolence continue to flood in for Noah and his relatives.
Condolences from Local Clubs and Communities
Celtic Eagles Dublin expressed in a social media statement: "We are deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Noah, the beloved three-year-old son of our former player Bartek Sikora. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing a child. Our thoughts, prayers and heartfelt support are with Bartek and his family during this incredibly difficult time."
Fantom Gym and MMA Club also offered condolences: "With heavy hearts, Fantom Team Ireland would like to express our deepest condolences to our dear friend Bartek Sikora and to his entire family after the tragic loss of their beloved three-year-old son Noah.
