Devon and Cornwall Police have released an e-fit of a suspect after a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a topless stranger in Ham Woods, Plymouth. The incident occurred at around 3:45pm on Thursday 25 June.
Suspect description
The suspect is described as a white male, roughly aged 25-30, with blonde thinning and receding hair and a scruffy beard, possibly with a moustache. He was wearing black sunglasses and was topless, with light coloured shorts and moles on his back.
Police appeal
The force said: 'We are releasing an e-fit as part of an investigation into a sexual assault in Ham Woods, Plymouth. At around 3.45pm on Thursday 25 June a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by an unknown male at the woods. He then left the scene. The victim has bravely been working alongside officers to describe the suspect, and her description has now allowed for the creation of the e-fit attached.'
Police urge anyone who recognises the suspect or saw someone matching the description around Ham Woods on 25 June to contact 101 or visit the Devon and Cornwall Police website, quoting crime reference 50260163994.
