EastEnders Star Jacqueline Jossa and Husband Dan Osborne Reportedly Permanently Split

EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa and her husband Dan Osborne, known from The Only Way Is Essex, have reportedly called it quits for good after nearly nine years of marriage. Sources close to the couple reveal that the split is now permanent, with Jacqueline recognizing the relationship is finished and both leading separate lives.

Sources Confirm Permanent Separation

According to insiders speaking to The Sun, the couple, who reconciled briefly last year after an initial separation, have decided to make the split permanent. "Everyone knows they've had their troubles, but after spending some time apart this year, they've decided to make the split permanent," a source said. They added that their two daughters, Ella, 11, and Mia, seven, remain their main priority.

The source further explained that Jacqueline "finally had enough," and the pair have been living independently over the last few months. "There's only so many times she can put herself through living in limbo and taking him back," they noted. Dan is understood to be residing in a property he purchased during their separation last year.

Focus on Work and Family

Since the reported permanent split, Jacqueline is said to be throwing herself into her work on EastEnders, where she portrays Lauren Branning, while also concentrating on raising their two daughters. This move marks a significant shift from their tumultuous history, which has seen multiple challenges over the years.

History of Marital Struggles

The couple's relationship has been under public scrutiny since 2015, when Dan faced accusations of inappropriate behaviour with a renowned model. Further allegations emerged in subsequent years, including alleged infidelity with former Love Island contestant Gabby Allen, causing strain in their marriage.

In 2020, Dan confessed to cheating on Jacqueline, calling himself an "idiot" but stating that his wife had forgiven him. He admitted, "I've made mistakes, yeah. I've done things I shouldn't have done. Me and Jac have spoken about that and she has forgiven me." Despite this, the couple continued to face difficulties, with Jacqueline offering a rare glimpse into their marriage in 2024 by posting affectionate photos and calling Dan her "bestest friend."

The Mirror has reached out to representatives for both Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne for comment on the reported permanent split.
