Katie Price Tells Jailed Husband Lee He's 'Most Hated Man in Britain'
Katie Price Calls Jailed Husband 'Most Hated Man in Britain'

Katie Price has labelled her husband Lee Andrews the "most hated man in Britain" in a bombshell new update, while also shedding light on the reasons behind his account's peculiar behaviour.

Lee, 43, is now confirmed to be imprisoned in Dubai on espionage charges, according to Katie, 48. She revealed he had been questioned by police in the United Arab Emirates, who allegedly suspected him of being "like James Bond".

In a fresh episode of her podcast, Katie disclosed she had finally spoken with Lee for the first time since he mysteriously vanished earlier this month. She claimed the conversation lasted just two minutes, made possible through Lee's father.

The call is thought to have originated from Dubai's Al Awir prison, following Lee's alleged arrest on May 14. At the time, Katie had feared he was being kidnapped, having witnessed him being restrained and bundled into a van to a "black site".

Now, Katie has dubbed him the "most hated man" in the UK, revealing she used the brief two-minute call to make her feelings known. She recalled: "I went, 'Don't worry about it Lee, just focus on one thing − you are the most hated man in Britain' is what I said."

She went on: "He said 'what, what, why?' and I said 'trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain, everyone thinks this is a scam, everyone thinks I'm in on it'. He's like 'what has gone on, I haven't seen anything' and I said 'we will discuss it all when you're out'."

"It's been a b****y nightmare its gone viral, this and that," she finished. But later in the podcast, she conceded her remarks may have been overly harsh, "but I was telling him the truth."

Katie's sister Sophie, who co-presents the podcast alongside the showbiz legend, responded: "Fair play." However, she subsequently banned Lee from ever appearing on the show to put forward his own version of events.

Katie also disclosed how Lee managed to briefly appear active on social media once more. He went on to follow a US Navy veteran, known as Marisol, despite being widely believed to be "kidnapped" at the time and having only followed Katie up to that point.

However, the Pricey was swift to highlight that it appeared to be an unusual glitch in Instagram's settings that had triggered it, as Marisol returned to the platform. "Apparently she activated her account and maybe she followed Lee, or Lee followed her, years ago," she said.

"They have never exchanged messages or nothing. So she blocked him. That's why it's gone back."
