A man has been jailed for three years after police discovered cocaine concealed in the dashboard of a car in Tamworth. Armand Sula, aged 33, of Coalville, Leicestershire, was sentenced at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday, May 21, after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply a class A drug (cocaine) and two counts of possession of criminal property.

The incident occurred in March this year when officers stopped a Vauxhall Corsa in the Glascote area. During the search, a sock containing 32 bags of cocaine was found hidden in the dashboard. A subsequent search of an address linked to Sula uncovered more than £700 in cash.

Court Outcome

Sula was jailed for three years. Along with the prison term, the drugs and cash were also seized. Staffordshire Police have reiterated their commitment to tackling illegal drug supply across the county and disrupting criminal networks.
