Sharon Osbourne to Join Tommy Robinson's Anti-Immigration March

Sharon Osbourne, the widow of Birmingham-born Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne, has reportedly indicated her intention to participate in an anti-immigration demonstration in London organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson. According to online reports, Osbourne appeared to announce her plans to join Robinson's rally, which is titled 'Unite The Kingdom' and scheduled for May 16.

In an online post, Tommy Robinson stated that the march is intended for individuals "who have had enough of migration and mass immigration and the oppression from a tyrannical government." In comments below this post, Sharon Osbourne seemingly confirmed her attendance by writing: "See you at the march," as reported by the Mirror. This development comes shortly after Osbourne and her children honored Ozzy at the BRITs, where the rock icon received the Lifetime Achievement award. During her emotional tribute, she declared: "There will never be another Ozzy f***ing Osbourne and I f***ing love you."

Background on Tommy Robinson

Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, is a controversial figure known as the co-founder of the English Defence League. His criminal record includes multiple convictions: in 2005, he was convicted of assaulting an off-duty police officer; in 2011, he was found guilty of assault again and received a suspended sentence for head-butting a man at an EDL rally in Lancashire. Later in July 2011, he was given a 12-month community rehabilitation order for leading a brawl involving around 100 football fans in Luton in 2010. In 2012, he was jailed for using a false passport to enter America. In January 2014, he received an 18-month prison sentence for conspiring to obtain a mortgage by misrepresentation from banks. He returned to prison in 2019 after being found guilty of contempt of court, and in 2021, he was issued a five-year stalking protection order following reports from journalist Lizzie Dearden and her boyfriend Samuel Partridge.
