A teenager has been left with serious injuries following a stabbing in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police and paramedics were dispatched to Appledorne Gardens in Shard End around 8.15pm on Sunday, May 31, after reports of an assault. Upon arrival, they discovered a wounded teenage boy.
The victim received emergency treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital under blue-light conditions.
Police Investigation Underway
Social media images show a significant police presence in the area. Two vehicles, including an Audi TT, were recovered by officers. However, it has not been confirmed whether these cars are connected to the investigation.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service stated: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Appledorne Gardens in Shard End, Birmingham, at 8.15pm yesterday. We sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance to the scene. On arrival, crews found a teenage boy with serious injuries. He was treated and conveyed to hospital under emergency driving conditions."
Police are continuing their inquiries and are expected to release a statement shortly. No arrests have been reported at this time.
