Residents of Birmingham are left wondering if the city will feature on this year's Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour, after the latest stop was announced for Cardiff.
Cardiff Gets the Next Festive Visit
The famous red vehicle, which for many signals the true start of the festive season, will next appear at The Farm House on Ferry Road in Cardiff on Sunday, December 21. This news comes as a disappointment to some in Birmingham, where the truck made a popular stop outside the Bullring on December 19 last year.
Coca-Cola maintains an air of surprise around its annual tour, never revealing the full schedule in advance. Locations are typically confirmed just days before the truck is due to arrive. With just six days remaining until Christmas, the clock is ticking for a potential Birmingham announcement.
Festive Fun and Charitable Support
When the truck does roll into town, it brings a host of festive activities. Visitors can look forward to complimentary drinks and snacks, festive games with prizes, and unique photo opportunities. A new feature for 2025 allows guests to have their photo turned into a special commemorative bauble.
The tour also has a strong charitable heart, continuing its support for FareShare, the UK's leading food distribution charity. The partnership aims to donate the equivalent of a million meals to help fight hunger and food waste across the country.
A Call to 'Refresh Your Holidays'
Elodie Peribere, Senior Marketing Director for Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland, commented on this year's theme. "Coca-Cola remains synonymous with Christmas, and we're delighted to bring back our iconic Truck Tour," she said. "This year, we're encouraging everyone to 'Refresh Your Holidays' and take a well-deserved pause to create uplifting moments with loved ones."
She added, "Our continued partnership with FareShare is incredibly important to us, and we hope to make this Christmas a little more meaningful for thousands of people across the country."
For hopeful Brummies, the message is not to give up just yet. There is still time for a last-minute surprise, and an announcement could be just around the corner if the holidays are indeed coming to Birmingham.
