New Adult Comedy Night Launches in Narborough's Historic Heart This Easter

This Easter Saturday, a fresh live comedy night is set to debut in the historic core of Narborough, as local performer Chris Martin—known on stage as Chrislexia Comedy—brings stand-up comedy to one of the village's most underutilized stages. Following his recent successful run at the Leicester Comedy Festival, where he presented Chrislexia Half Term Hilarity, Martin is now introducing an adults-only mixed-bill comedy night designed to kickstart regular live entertainment in the area.

A Venue with Untapped Potential

The Easter Saturday show will take place on what organizers describe as "a beautiful stage in a brilliant venue"—a space with significant untapped potential. Situated just a stone's throw from Narborough train station, central to surrounding villages, and within easy reach of Fosse Park, Enderby's Next HQ, the M1, and the M69, the venue is ideally positioned yet often overlooked locally.

Martin emphasized the venue's promise, stating, "It's a fantastic space that more people should know about. There's real potential here. This is just the start of building something—not just a one-off show, but regular live entertainment in a venue that deserves to be used."

Affordable Launch Event

The launch event will feature a minimum of five comedians and is priced at only £5 to encourage local support and introduce audiences to the space in a relaxed, affordable manner. Martin hopes this event marks the beginning of a new chapter for live performance in Narborough, bringing quality comedy and entertainment back into village spaces.

By focusing on accessibility and community engagement, this initiative aims to revitalize a key local venue and foster a vibrant cultural scene in Narborough's historic heart.
