Birmingham Beach is back for summer 2026 in a new location, offering free entry with sand, deckchairs, food stalls, and fairground rides throughout the school holidays. Parents can also enjoy a guide to 20 free things to do around Brum, covering the entire six-week break.

Merry Hill is hosting a two-week activity programme called Game On, featuring free football, cricket, and karate sessions. New Square Shopping Centre in West Bromwich has a beach and free mini golf. For a small fee, Farmarama returns with 400 tonnes of golden sand and five giant paddling pools, offering £2.50 off tickets and free return visits.

For a road trip, a beach with 'California vibes' is hosting the UK Grand Slam volleyball tournament, just over three hours from Birmingham.
